This policy explains what data YGT! collects, how we use it, and what rights you have. YGT! is built by Ghost Grotto, a solo studio based in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

What we collect

When you use YGT!, we collect:

• Your email address, used to create and access your account
• The tasks you enter and the step breakdowns generated for them
• Your completion history, streaks, and rank progression
• Your notification preferences and a push notification identifier
• Basic app interaction data used to keep the app working correctly

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, health data, financial information, or any data from other apps on your device.

How we use it

We use your data to:

• Run your account and keep you signed in
• Store your tasks and progress so you can pick up where you left off
• Send you the notifications you asked for during onboarding
• Keep the app secure and diagnose issues when things go wrong

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Service providers

We use third-party service providers to deliver core app functionality, including hosting, database storage, push notifications, and AI-powered task breakdown. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data protection obligations and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Some minimal, anonymized records may be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. These contain no personal identifiers and are kept for the shortest period required by law, typically no longer than 90 days.

Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct any information that is wrong
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses

Children

YGT! is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email robert@getyougotthis.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
